CXP directly addresses concerns that passkeys could lead to user lock-in by making it difficult to transfer credentials across various systems and devices. While password management already faces similar hurdles, CXP provides a standardized method for securely moving passkeys, allowing users more freedom in choosing platforms without compromising security.
